shooting out of the car window. i don’t normally do this (though i am not against it), but i do keep my camera on the passenger seat when i’m driving just in case. one day last week i was stopped at PCH and 7th st in LB and saw this fellow on the median. i really like this image, and the story it tells. i think it says more than a guy who’s down on his luck asking for change …i feel like his hand on the bridge of his nose indicated that he’s asking himself “how much longer do i have to do this?” it relays a feeling of frustration and disenchantment. i also like the angle of the shot. it makes him look like he’s walking up hill (literally and figuratively). anyway … thanks for looking.
