we do an annual camping / river float trip every year with about one hundred of our closest friends. we all converge on brownstown in bishop, ca on 4th of july weekend. after the fact, i always wish that i had taken more pictures, not that everything needs to be documented, quite the opposite, but i do love pictures of fireworks. i think joe’s picture of sam was “best in show” as far as i saw … this is probably the 2nd or 3rd year i’ve brought a camera and honestly, i still don’t take it out of the camera bag much … here are a few that i like:

thx dennis. you should’ve seen Pete doing bunny hops over the fountains on his son’s bicycle … my shutter was too slow to catch it, but it was cool.
