Shooting out the Window …

I wanted to call this post “Shooting guns with Vegans …” But I thought it was misleading. Shooting Guns with Vegans is something I recently did, something I enjoyed and something I took pictures of … But the pictures aren’t what I had hoped. So in my ever-present struggle with “over-sharing” I have decided that I will not post the images from shooting guns with vegans.

I read an article about blogging and, although I did not read the whole article, the information I took away from it is: Use a catchy title, or at least a title that might attract some attention. I’ve been trying this. You might have noticed, with posts titled: “And her Brother Bought the Farm,” “Punk Rock in the Tea Room,” etc. I like challenging myself to come up with an interesting title or, if not interesting, at least something that may spark your interest. I love the title “Shooting Guns With Vegans” but it has nothing to do with the post …

Some of you may recall that I recently did a photo shoot for a tag that will be used on a bag that was created by the company where my lovely wife works (she’s the graphic artist). The bag-tag shoot was fun. We enlisted the help of our scooterist friends, (and YES, a couple of them are the gun shooting vegans) to ride while “using” the bags. This shoot found me hanging out of the passenger window of the car, camera in hand, with my wife behind the wheel, chasing the scooterists down the street. Thanks to our scooterist friends AND to Taurino for handling the flash duties from the back seat …

I was really happy with some of the photos we got that day … And just yesterday the bags arrived at home, complete with the tags … I think The Weave did an awesome job on the tag and sticker design and used the pictures in the best way possible. Check them out. What do you think?

Here’s the cover (Front and back images):

Here’s the inside of the tag:

And the sticker for the iPad pocket:

Cool, right?
