i really hate bourbon street, but i love NOLA!

we just got back from a super fun trip to new orleans, la (NOLA). i’d been there 3 times prior and knew what to expect with bourbon street (for those who have not been to NOLA but have been to Tijuana – picture a cross between Revolucion in Tijuana with down town Las Vegas – but with more drunken college kids, more vomit, worse odors and alcohol drinks available “to-go.”).

NOLA has so much more to offer than bourbon street. amazing architecture, music, food, drink … a lot of everything you need. we saw our friend Romy singing at Maison on Frenchmen street. She is amazing!

we did a swamp tour in Slidell, LA. We saw a few gators (the guides feed them marsh mellows) …
